Colorado Greyhound Adoption attends many of the fairs and festivals held in the area. We also hold several fundraisers and awareness opportunities throughout the year. Here are just some of the past events, with pictures:

2008 CGA Golf Tournament Results |
Hello Everyone,
CGA’s 8th annual golf tournament was held on Saturday July 19th. It was a beautiful day, when we teed off there was not a cloud in the sky. The golf tournament is an event that CGA puts on every year that gets a lot of outside exposure. The tournament is filled up with mostly teams that are not members of CGA, therefore we are able to reach out to another crowd of people and spread the word about these wonderful hounds. We had some fosters that showed up and it is always great to see how excited people get when they meet a greyhound for the first time. The greyhounds that showed up were "greyt" ambassadors. |

In September, we held an open Adoption Day at Robert F. Clement Park in Littleton. Most of our available dogs were together in one spot, where pre-approved adopters were able to get a first-hand look at potential new family members. It was an amazing success! |

CGA Benefit Dinner - Feb 4, 2008 |
 On February 4th, 2008, Opus Restaurant held a special benefit dinner for CGA. This event was a 5 course dinner at one of the area's premier restaurants. Chef Michael Long is known as one of the top Chefs in Colorado, and his restaurant Opus is accepted as one of the Top 3 restaurants in the Denver area. Chef Long and one of our CGA Board Members who manages the restaurant prepared a menu titled "Gorging for Greys". The 5 course tasting menu was also paired with wines throughout. It was truly a culinary treat. The quality of the courses, the wine pairings, and the excellence of service will be an experience to remember.
There were a total of 24 people that attended the dinner, which raised $331 for the hounds! |
